The Rangers leading scoring defenseman from last year was back to skating with the regulars yesterday but will be scratched again. Quinn wanted to make it clear that this scratch has nothing to do with discipline and just a byproduct of the last game.

Alexandar Georgiev earned the right to start against the NJ Devils tonight, He stopped all 23 shots he faced en route to his first shutout of year against the Isles. Not only was it his first win but that of the Rangers on the season.
