Rangers Roundup: Update on Carolina pick, recap the rebuild and more news

The Rangers now have a better idea of where they will be picking in the first round now that Carolina has been eliminated. After selecting first overall, the pick acquired in the Brady Skjei trade will be between 20 and 24.

Following Boston's First Round series win against Carolina, the first-round pick the Rangers acquired from the Hurricanes in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft will be no worse than 24th overall. #NYR

Later today, we will break down some potential options for the Blueshirts at that slot. But from what I can gather, the Rangers may trade that pick in a deal this offseason.
