The Rangers have announced Thursday morning that they have acquired Peter Holland in exchange for Adam Cracknell.

Cracknell skated in four games with the Rangers after being claimed off of waivers earlier this season from the Dallas Stars. He has spent the majority of this season with the Hartford Wolfpack, where he scored two goals and three points.

Peter Holland was signed as a free agent by the Montreal Canadiens. The 24-year-old center has spent the entirety of this season with the Canadiens AHL affiliate, the Laval Rockets. In twenty games with the Rockets, Holland has eight goals and ten assists, for a total of eighteen points.
