The New York Rangers and their fans are still holding their collective breaths on the extent of Igor Shesterkin’s injury. He came up limp after attempting a cross crease save in the third period.

Shesterkin immediately fell to the ice and was writhing in pain. He had to be helped up and off the ice. Shesterkin left with his helmet on but was visibly grimacing in agony.

David Quinn refused to speculate and is waiting for the report from doctors. When pressed if he thought it was severe, the coach didn’t think it was at the moment.
