Report: Alexis Lafreniere leads list of New York Rangers players already at MSG Training facility

Larry Brooks is reporting several Rangers have skated in two different sessions yesterday at the MSG Training Facility. The center opened up to players on Monday according to his latest article.

  • Keith Kinkaid

More Rangers on the way

Star goalie Igor Shesterkin is expected next week. So is forward Pavel Buchnevich who’s in Florida and will make his way up soon. Brooks also adds that Alex Georgiev and Libor Hajek are expected by the weekend or early next week.

Two other big Rangers, Mika Zibanejad and Kaapo Kakko should follow in the near future. Forever Blueshirts can confirm that Tarmo Reunanen has not yet made plans to attend training camp.

The Rangers could be waiting for the official camp roster invite limit, which I was told is expected at 36 total.
