Vladimir Tarasenko already had the Madison Square Garden crowd buzzing when they introduced him as part of the starting lineup.

Well, it didn’t take long for him to bring them to a frenzy as he scored on his very first shot on a goal as a member of the New York Rangers.

At the 2:49 mark of the first period against the Seattle Kraken, Artemi Panarin intercepted an errand pass to break into the offensive zone. The Rangers leading-point getter drew the defender to him with a shoulder fake and fed Tarasenko streaking to the net for the tally.

It was just his second shift.

He’s a world class player,” Mika Zibanejad said during the MSG Intermission. “He can obviously score and make plays. Big strong body and can hold on to pucks. Unbelievable player.”

No one should be shocked at the instant chemistry between the two Russians stars who have been friends for a long time.

“We met before World Juniors in 2011 and stayed in touch since then,” Tarasenko said before the game. “We talked at the All-Star Game a lot. He’s a very good guy. We’re on the same line and we’ll try to make it work.”

On Thursday, the Blueshirts dealt Sammy Blais, prospect Hunter Skinner, a conditional first-round pick, and conditional fourth-round pick to the St. Louis Blues for Tarsenko and defenseman Niko Mikkola.

Tarasenko, 31, now has 30 points and counting as he plays in his 39th game this season and his first with the Rangers.

The Blueshirts are up 3-0 after the first period.
