It’s been over a week since the altercation between Tony DeAngelo and Alexandar Georgiev. Per published reports, Tony made a sarcastic comment towards Georgiev who threw a punch and the altercation ensued.

This resulted in DeAngelo being waived and now sitting at home waiting for a trade. Georgiev has not started since the OT loss to the Penguins and had this to say.

“I don’t want to elaborate on what happened. I just want to keep it in the past tense,” Georgiev told reporters. “Emotions happened, and that’s all I can say. I wish Tony the best moving forward and I’m going to focus on my game.”

Head coach David Quinn also reiterated that the team is moving on from the situation.
