About John Kreiser

John Kreiser covered his first Rangers game (against the California Golden Seals) in November 1975 and is still going strong. John has covered hockey (and still covers on occasion) for The Associated Press, written for an assortment of magazines and websites, and, for more than 13 seasons, served as managing editor of NHL.com, the League’s official website. John has been in the winning locker room of the Stanley Cup champs on a half-dozen occasions, including at the Garden on June 14, 1994, when the Rangers ended their 54-year title drought. He’s authored/co-authored several books, including “The New York Rangers: Broadway’s Longest-Running Hit,” “Game of My Life: The New York Rangers,” and “The Wait is Over,” a retrospective on the Rangers’ 1994 championship season.
