JT Miller In For Dan Carcillo, Is it A Mistake?

JT Miller is playing game 5.

JT Miller will now be in the lineup for Dan Carcillo for game 5. Is it the right play?

Dan Carcillo was a key player in the Rangers game 3 win and had nothing to do with their game 4 loss. In addition, the Rangers outplayed the Flyers in game 4 but could not solve Steve Mason.

Of the reasons highlighted for the loss, the ability to crash the net was at the top of the list. So why take out one of the few players that actually gets to the net consistently?

The only real knock on Carcillo is he doesn’t play on special teams. Ergo, why Dorsett is in the lineup still. His ability to kill penalties is what keeps him in.

If the Rangers find themselves down in the third period and Vigneault staples JT Miller to the bench, then this move went horribly wrong. Matter of fact, I see no logic in the maneuver.
