Yesterday at the All Star Game media day, Henrik Lundqvist put what I hope is the final nail in the speculation coffin.
This should seem unnecessary considering he told the Rangers last year that he wanted to stay through the rebuild. Of course, many fans and even some hockey personalities and insiders speculated he might change his mind.
Well, now we know that playing on a struggling team hasn’t changed his heart or his mind. When it’s over, Henrik Lundqvist will end his career in the jersey where it all started. Rejoice Rangers fans.
