McKenzie tweets out speculation that Panarin lands with Islanders

Well this is one of those insiders we all wait to hear from.

But wouldn’t it be something if Panarin and goaltender Semyon Varlamov, who is also represented by Theofanous, ended up as a set with the Isles? If that were to happen, it would mean Robin Lehner would be looking for a home that isn’t NYI or FLA.

I contacted my source close to the situation and received confirmation that Panarin and Bobrovsky are going to likely sign in separate places. As of now, the Rangers are still in it, but it doesn’t look promising.

Like I said, this could go down to the wire.
