While the Rangers are a team with a deep, rich history as an Original Six team (and a large revenue driver for the NHL), it hasn’t come with as much playoff success as fans would like. 

In fact, the Rangers have been passed in Stanley Cup numbers by 3 franchises that joined in the 60s and 70s.
