Nils Lundkvist magical season continues, named finalist for Young Player of the Year

Although the SHL season has been cancelled, Nils Lundkvist amazing U20 season is being recognized. The Rangers tantalizing prospect is a favorite to win the Young Player of the Year award this summer.

The Rangers third 1st round pick in the 2018 draft has tallied 12 goals, 30 assists so far in his SHL career spanning 109 games. Those 42 points are the third-most by an U20 SHL defenseman in history. These numbers are impressive and it has me thinking the next Erik Karlsson should he continue to develop as expected.
