NYR MUST BE “AWARE” OF AVS

This represents a short month due to the Olympic break and the Rangers need to continue their winning ways from January (10-4-1). It will not be easy against an Avalanche team that has exceeded all expectations for 77 points thus far on the year. The Rangers will need to handle the quick transition of the Avalanche and limit their chances on Lundqvist.
Marc Staal who just became a father should play tonight and the Rangers will need him for sure. Keep your eye on Mats Zuccarello tonight who is streaking. Zucc is on a 3 game point streak (2 G – 2 A) and looks poised for more. Rangers will have a tough time in this one but a 4-3 win is in the cards.
