Rangers Brendan Lemieux Fortnite’s way to $40,000 for Charity and Gretzky versus Ovechkin in NHL20 is must see TV

If you guys are into video games then you will love this morning’s news. Last night, Rangers forward Brendan Lemieux and his Fortnite teammates won $40,000 to give to the charity of their choice. Lemieux, like most young hockey players these days is an avid gamer and his skills helped Northwell Hospital.

The Great One vs. The Great 8

I have to admit, even I was really interested in this one. Wayne Gretzky and Alex Ovechkin played each other in NHL20 last night and it was actually a great game.

First off, I have to tell you that I didn’t think Wayne was a gamer or had a chance against Ovechkin who is. But Gretzky held a lead until the final seconds and Ovechkin tied it. Ovi’s reaction is awesome stuff here too.

The OT was intense, but the greatest player to ever play the game won it from a play behind the net (fitting). Ovechkin’s dejection coupled with Gretzky’s relief (and maybe disbelief) put smiles on all the fans faces who watched.

In the end, the two greats complimented each other and raised money for a good cause. Excellent stuff all the way around. Good job EA SPORTS!
