Rangers fans, a Forever Blueshirts site update
As you may have noticed since yesterday morning, Forever Blueshirts was down for most of the day. Sadly this was also the case late last week. Today, I am pleased to announce (fingers crossed) that the issues with the site have been resolved.
The growing popularity and traffic of our blog has also drawn the attention of hackers. That is what caused it to go down the first time. Yesterday, probably due to having those issues, the site performance was so bad it crashed and caused me to waste countless hours on fixing.
Another factor is cost. While this is a labor of love and a passion for me to help promote talented writers and podcasters, it comes with a sizable cost and little revenue. I am analyzing this and trying to find a way to monetize the site besides the low revenue web ads.
And no, I am not looking for donations LOL. I’d love to find dedicated sponsors that want to market their products and services to you great fans. Maybe a premium section of the site or an exclusive newsletter. Just some ideas I have brewing.
