It may only be June 21st, but the Rangers have gotten fans excited in anticipation. The Rangers announced their home opener for October 5th against the Colorado Avalanche. Not the “rivalry” matchup that the Rangers had last year against the Islanders, but certainly a game that will hopefully get the Rangers off on the right foot for the 2017-18 season.
