Rangers playoff odds nearly double with hot streak
The New York Rangers went into last night’s pivotal game against the Blue Jackets with only an 11% chance of making the postseason as per Money Puck. Well, that number nearly doubled after defeating Columbus in one of those crucial 4 point swing games.

Money Puck is a website that calculates not only odds to make the playoffs, but also game predictions, expected goals, and more. It should be a staple for any hockey fan. Based on their calculation the Rangers jumped nearly 9 points from 11 to 19.7% to make the post season.
Rangers will try and keep the push to the playoffs going against the Boston Bruins on Sunday where Money Puck gives the Bruins a slight edge heading into the contest. Just remember, don’t tell the Blueshirts the odds, because they don’t care.
