Rangers recall pair from Hartford
The Rangers announced moments ago that the team has recalled forward Boo Nieves and goaltender Alexandar Georgiev from the Hartford Wolf Pack.
With the Rangers having a nine-day hiatus between games, sending these two players to the AHL made a lot of sense. Now that the Rangers are less than 48 hours from returning for the final stretch of their season, it was time for the team to bring back the two youngsters for David Quinn to use in his lineup. And although it has not been officially announced as of yet, one would assume that the Rangers will be returning Dustin Tokarski to the Wolf Pack.
