Carpenter, 32, had 3 points in 21 games prior to being sent down to the Wolf Pack. Since joining the Pack, he’s been one of their best offensive players with 13 goals and 28 points in 31 games.

He signed a one-year deal for $750,000 this past summer.

Leschyshyn, 23, was claimed by the Rangers from the Vegas Golden Knights earlier in the season. In 13 games with the Blueshirts, he has not registered a point.

Regarding the anticipated Patrick Kane trade, this will likely push it to no earlier then March 1.
