Interest in Lias

We noted yesterday that speculation out of Sweden has Lias Andersson sticking around. This morning several teams have spoken to reporters about interest in signing the 21 year old if the Rangers would allow him to be loaned.

Andersson’s former SHL team Frolunda is the most likely to get him. Freddy Sjostrom who played for the Rangers and has a good relationship with the organization said as much to Gortborgs-Posten.

This is obviously the Rangers just doing their due diligence and it is more likely Nashville that they are scouting. The Predators are looking to bolster their offense and have been in the Chris Kreider for awhile.
