The New York Rangers will conduct one last practice tomorrow at 12PM before heading to Toronto this weekend. Here’s some news and notes from today to get you up to speed.

Chris Kreider ready to bring energy

The veteran met with the media today via Zoom and talked about what he expected from playoff games in empty arenas. “I don’t expect the hockey to be any less competitive,” Kreider answered. “It will be a different feel, not having that electricity and noise in the building, but it’s up to us on the bench and as teammates to bring that energy.”

The Rangers power forward also said, “It’s still playoff hockey.” At the end of the day one team goes home and the other moves on “to go and compete for something we all dream of winning our entire lives.”

Rangers will not announce starter until game one

David Quinn was asked about his starter today and informed the media he will not be announcing his starter until game one most likely.
