The Rangers 3rd straight loss makes landing a wild card spot even less likely. Now Alex Ovechkin and his Caps are coming to town. Another loss will certainly turn this hill into Mt. Everest to climb.

Wild Card Watch

Rangers chances are now down to 25%. Columbus is in Calgary tonight and the Rangers really need a Flames win. NY still sits with 74 points and 4 points out of a playoff spot held by the Jackets.

No Help from Officials

David Quinn was asked about the number of non calls last night as the Blues hooked and interfered with near impunity. “When a team is allowed to do some of the things they do,” the coach said sarcastically before complimenting them for working so hard. Bottom line, the Rangers can’t rely on refs to call it right and need to start scoring a lot more than they have lately.
