In today’s day an age, rumors travel faster than the speed of light. There’s word that DeAngelo was involved in some altercation with a teammate after the game.

“There’s always rumors, I’m not gonna address rumors,” David Quinn responded. “This isn’t about one incident. It’s not about one thing.”

Furthermore, the Ranger held DeAngelo out of practice to protect the waiver process which sounds like they wouldn’t mind if he was claimed. Still, there’s a lot who believe something went down last night and it hasn’t been addressed.

Quinn noted that the Rangers will have more information that can be revealed in the next 24 hours. For now, we are left with a business decision – one that could open the door for a trade.

Mika Zibanejad was also asked about DeAngelo today and set he feels for him, “he’s a teammate.” Anthony Bitetto will play in his place as it seems like the end of DeAngelo time in NY is at hand.
