Rangers share powerful video from Anson Carter for Black Lives Matter movement

While the Rangers have not made any official statement, and emails from MSG President, James Dolan have leaked on his reasonings why, the organization has retweeted a powerful video by one of its former players.

Anson Carter suited up for the Blueshirts for parts of two seasons from 2003 to 2004. The talented winger was traded to Washington for Jaromir Jagr in 2004 in a one for one trade, which was a salary dump for the Caps.

After his playing days, Anson went to work as an analyst and has become one of the best in the business. His voice is even more powerful now, along with another former Ranger, Kevin Weekes. Both have spoken out to raise awareness, seek justice, and bring people together for the Black community.
