Rangers Sign Keane To ELC

The Rangers announced that they have signed 2018 draft pick Joey Keane to an entry-level contract.

The 19-year-old Chicago native has had a good season in the OHL, recording 37 points from the blue line. Keane, who was selected by the Rangers in the third round of June’s draft, was cut from Team USA’s roster for this year’s World Junior Championships. His London Knights team is currently in first place of the OHL’s Midwest division, so it will be interesting to see if he will be able to play for Hartford before their season ends on an ATO.
