Wolf Pack Sign Eric Selleck to AHL Deal

Tuscon RoadRunners

On Friday afternoon, the Wolf Pack added another veteran to their roster. General Manager Chris Drury signed Eric Selleck to an American Hockey League contract. The signing does not impact the cap space for the New York Rangers.

Eric Selleck should be familiar to Wolf Pack fans. In 2015-16, he played with the Springfield Falcons, the Pack’s closest and most played rival. He also played with the Portland Pirates in 2014-15.

Eric Selleck is a left wing enforcer with toughness and grit. The 29-year-old veteran has been in the league since 2010-11, and is willing to drop the gloves for any situation and will defend his teammates. Last season with the Tucson Roadrunners, Selleck recorded 5 goals and 4 assists in 46 games with 103 penalty minutes.

The Pack may be close to finalizing their potential roster. They have scoring, depth, prospects, and now toughness. Goalies and defense may be set as well. Hartford may have another signing or two to make, but aside from that, they should be set.
