The New York Rangers will look to rebound from their overtime loss to the Seattle Kraken on Thursday as they play game two of four on this western trip.

Head coach Gerard Gallant is basically running with the same lineup except for one change. Defenseman Zac Jones will be back in the lineup for Libor Hajek and be paired with Braden Schneider against the San Jose Sharks.

“That competition has been going on all year long and we like both of them,” Gerard Gallant said before the trip began. “We’re happy with our defense. Jonesy will get another a chance and when he does he just has to go play solid.”

Jones, 22, last played on November 8 in the team’s 4-3 loss to the Islanders at home. He has just two points in 11 games this season.
