A couple of quick notes as the Rangers prepare to take on the Bruins before having a few days off. The long pause is due to the Flyers game on Sunday was postponed due to COVID.

Rangers Filip Chytil on COVID list

Rangers center Filip Chytil was injured almost two weeks ago and is still around four weeks away from a return. That’s why it was a bit surprising to see Chytil’s name pop up on the NHL’s COVID Protocol list.

Hopefully this is a similar situation where Kaapo Kakko may have dealt with a false positive and missed just one game. Kakko noted this information in a recent Finnish podcast.
