European Rangers heading back

Over the weekend we noted from Newsday that Pavel Buchnevich was coming in yesterday. Colin Stephenson is now reporting that both Kaapo Kakko and Alexandar Georgiev are heading back from Finland on Friday.

Today we also reported that the mandatory service in Finland has been waived for Kaapo Kakko due to his diabetes.

NHL Contracts and Visas Extended

Due to the pandemic and the pushing out of the season, the standard June 30th contract expiration date has been extended to October 31st. This is also in response to the expiring visas issues reported here.
